Near Death Afterlife

First of all, and of utmost importance, if you don't know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, read this: http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/how_to_be_saved.html

The purpose of this blog is for me to document my experiences and to warn people of the end times, because everything I have experienced tells me that it's just a matter of time until its all over, and I feel a warning is necessary. For those that don't know this fact about my life, I had an encounter with an angel that changed my life. Jesus saved my soul when He entered my heart when I was 16 years old, but then 18 years went by and I encountered an angel, and as much as becoming Christian changed my life, encountering that angel changed my definition of what life was and my role in it.

In my blog, I use advanced concepts of knowledge and consciousness to illustrate things, so as to help you understand what I already know.

In The Matrix, a man named Thomas Anderson, who goes by the hacker alias Neo, finds out his reality is not what he thought it was, and it wasn't because somebody told him about it or he decided it was so, it was because of a series of encounters that changed his concept of life and his role in it. In the movie, his character moves from:

  • Having suspicions that his life was not what he thought it was, and investigating it in his spare time: in the beginning of the movie he is seen asleep at his computer where he had been investigating the nature of the Matrix. Then a female character named Trinity makes contact with him by messaging him on his computer. His life changes from what it was at this point, but his preconceptions remain the same.
    -TO-
  • Meeting an agent of the Matrix (Smith) and having his preconceptions of  what he thought life was drastically changed as a result. Having the initial conversation with Smith when he got arrested was key to his character development because it helped make his situation real to him at that moment.
There is much more progression with his character, and a lot of it is relevant to my experience, so I may refer to it from time to time. If you have never seen it, you should watch it, if only to see how the Thomas Anderson/Neo character moves progresses from a point of ignorance and suspicion to one where he has power and authority and abilities beyond his initial imagining. He goes from being Thomas Anderson, a software engineer doing a day to day job for a paycheck, to being dead, to coming back as Neo/The One with new abilities (he is no longer Thomas Anderson after this). This was because Thomas Anderson had to die for Neo to meet his potential and become The One. This blog is not about Neo or the Matrix, though; it is about my experiences and how I am significantly different than the person I used to be in a lot of ways. It is also so you understand why I am the way I am, so that I may warn you of the approaching end times. I make no claim about myself other than I am a sinner saved by grace that experienced an extraordinary series of events.  This blog is done to glorify God and because I feel it is the right time to write about it publicly.

I have tried contacting the Roman Catholic church to talk to someone about my experiences, but I'm not Roman Catholic and they never replied to my email request. So, I am going to blog about it instead. This experience is personal to me, so I am going to report it based upon my own experience and my perspective. Even among people who have encountered angels throughout history, my case is unique in some very interesting ways. I have read and educated myself on angels and documented encounters with angels, and was able to verify my experience based certain written documentation.

Also, I used to be a paranormal investigator in the style the Ghost Hunters made famous, so my experience with the paranormal is wide and varied. I have had things thrown at me, put my hand inside a persistent apparition (it was persistent because it did not disappear when I placed my hand inside; it hung around), and encountered a demonic entity or two, which other than attempting some questions, I left alone. Upon leaving, I would always deny any spirit the ability to come home with me, "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit," especially with the few demonics I encountered.

The encounter with the angel did not occur during a ghost hunt, though; also, I hadn't actively investigated the paranormal since close to a year before this encounter; finally, since the encounter with the angel, I no longer feel a need to investigate. At its root, investigating the paranormal was a personal quest by me to find out what happened after death. The church says souls are saved, but when I document and capture activity that seems to indicate that things may not be as they seem, I investigated further until I felt that I had sufficiently proven the existence of the paranormal to myself anyway, and in the end I put it down because I no longer felt the need to go ghost hunting to know there are spirits out there, but neither do I need to investigate just to satisfy the curiosity of someone who may think they have a spirit in their house - if someone wants to know badly enough, they will find out.

For my own self, though, what I found out about the existence of the paranormal when it comes to myself is this one simple truth:

It doesn't matter what happens to everyone else, it only matters what happens to me. And I know where I am going upon my death, and it is not to haunt someone because I have nothing better to do while I float around Earth for eternity.

This is not because I was told, it's because I have faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but more importantly I feel affirmation from God regarding this, due to my experience with this angel. Just like Neo investigating the Matrix, it took an interaction with an angel for me to realize this truth within the very core of my being and make it my own. I will post more about the encounter later. For right now, listen to this beautiful song, for if you are a sinner saved by the grace of Jesus, it's true; sin is broken because He is stronger - I can say this with authority because I have felt the power of God directly. He is stronger than anything:
